Ryde Dragon Club is on a mission to build a Youth (18-24) team! 

Our aim is to develop the future of dragon boating, developing pathways for young paddlers and establish dragon boating from youth, premier (open age) and senior ages. 

Youth paddlers have the amazing opportunity to represent their state and even Australia in international events. This sport has a pathway for everyone; whether you just want to spend your time on the water in the outdoors, or you’re up the challenge and beat of the drum during a race! Dragon boating comes with many personal developmental opportunities, all new members can choose their own journey.  

Dragon boating is welcoming of all ages and genders, we aren’t just a sport we’re a family! 

Did you miss our 24U Riverfest Dragon Boat Event on 29 September 2024?

The event was aimed at both older junior age (16-17) and youth aged (18-24) people, bridging the gap between our junior and youth categories. It was an opportunity to come and experience dragon boating, with a session with our Ryder’s youth. After the fun-filled session exploring the local Parramatta waterways, the group enjoyed a sausage sizzle in the park. It was a lot of fun trying something new!
