24U Riverfest Dragon Boating Event

Are you ready to try something exciting, meet new friends, and have a blast while doing it? We're calling all youth (ages 24 and under) to come and experience the thrill of Dragon Boating! Whether you're looking for a new challenge or just a fun way to spend time with others, this is the perfect opportunity. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm! 

Riverfest running from the 21st - 29th of September is the Parramatta River Catchment Group’s annual, premier community event – celebrating the Parramatta River and surrounding creeks and environment! We love our training spot at Kissing Point on the Parramatta River and we’re holding a come and try session to celebrate and show off our stunning location! 

Timings

10.30am arrive for registration and paddle/PFD fitting

What to bring?

- Water in a plastic bottle 

- Wear comfy exercise clothing 

- Water shoes or old joggers (they will get wet) 

- A towel and change of clothes is also handy just in case

Paddles and PFDs are provided by Ryde Dragon Boat Club.

Location - Kissing Pt Park, near the ferry wharf, Ferries bring you directly to our site. Parking is available in nearby streets.
